One Case of Reye´s Syndrome

Abstract
|
|
|
A case of Reye´s syndrome in a 8-month old infant was presented. This baby was admitted´ because of coughing, fever, vomiting, and lethergy. Laboratory finding showed increased serum S-GOT and S-GPT level with decrease blood sugar and CSF sugar levels. Liver biopsy revealed diffuse fatty metamorphosis of hepatocytes.
A brief review of related literature was also presented.
